I’m stitching again
After 11 months of only stitching on the RR, I finally started stitching again just before xmas. Of course since then I have done some on one I already had going and started 3 more
So time to share some pics.
The first is Stella. I have missed stitching on her and loved picking her back up again. I was pleased with the amount I managed to do over the xmas break. Before I stopped work on her, the top row of pages had been done and about 500 stitches had been done on the next row.
Now for the new starts. I was given Hermit and the threads from Vicky for xmas. So of course on xmas day I started him. And the the very naughty Sue gave me Pumpkin Pixie and all threads and fabbie, so I started her over the New Year weekend for the new start SAL. Managed to get a little more done on the second weekend SAL, but only a few hours. So here is the progress to date.
And lastly, I started Cirques on Country Stitch Wisteria and using Waterlilies Elderberry Wine. The pics aren’t the best as I took them last night. Should have waited until today, but I was hoping to get this posted last night. Of course, that was before my internet connection went haywire. So there are my pics. I’m looking forward to stitching on them again, so I had better hurry up and finish my section on Sue’s RR

Thanks to being sick, I am SO behind on Diane’s RR… but I do have a really sexy-looking eye peeking out from behind some hair.

Hmm, those photos all look worse today than they did yesterday. I’ll have to do better next time.
JM, I started in the top left of PP so that is bits of two trees. I replaced the 032 with DMC so did a little juggling of a couple of colours. Sorry Sue, you sent me all that 032 and I started the background with it.. it just looked wrong. Very out of place. Sue, Vicky prob would have caved and started PP but then Violet Sometimes came out.
Sue don’t worry if you are late with posting out Dianne’s RR. I’ve been sick too so I’m also behind. Besides I won’t start it straight away as I will want to do some of my own stitching. Stella is calling again.
Since my photo of Cirques sucked so badly, I will try and get a better pic this week. Meanwhile, here is the link to the thread https://www.stitchingbitsandbobs.com/cgi-bin/Store/showimage.cgi?CaronCWL00192ElderberryWine

No problem on the 032… it makes for nice cording… but I don’t care for it for stitching. I don’t do sparkly skin unless it’s underwater or something else… and sparkly backgrounds I do in PTB.
I feel guilty about being late with an RR… first, I despise being late for anything… and second, I have other stuff I want to stitch, too… but I refuse to touch it until Diane’s pretty green lady is all done!

Hi Nic, thanks for the link!
Ask me how much I adore Stella! Thud! Now we just need a face to go with that funky hair. Oh, and I looove the elderberry wine you’re using on circles. It looks absolutely nothing like the link from Stitching Bits and Bobs but it’s gorgeous and this is such a great chart.
Congrats on the blog!
