Taunting Vicky

Photo Hunt catch-up
Monday, February 26th, 2007Since I got this blog there were 3 photo hunt weeks that I failed to put something up… mainly because I have only just recently bought a digital camera and all my photos I have that are any good are on film. Vicky very nicely scanned them in for me so here comes the catch-up for those 3 weeks.
First came Autumn. This photo was taken in a little lakeside town in Austria (have forgotten the name for now). They have autumn festivals and this was their spokesman.
Next comes critters. On a street in Paris stood this lovely trio playing such typical music. I just could resist taking the photo.
And last of all comes the windows. This photo is of a little tea house at an old palace in Germany – Sanssouci. It has been restored extensively, although at the time I visited (Winter 95-96) the tea house was among only a couple of buildings that had been finished. Oh, and in case you are wondering, the boxes around the tea house are covering statues. Because of the cold, they cover the statues in winter to protect them. I think it is supposed to stop them from cracking or such. Not sure.
Photo Hunt
Thursday, February 22nd, 2007
Well I am finally posting a pic for the photo hunt. Not sure what week this is, but Vicky told me the theme was keys. My pic isn’t as artistic as hers, but here you see all my house keys and lab keys thrown on the floor. What can I say… unless you are Vicky and have been able to collect old keys, it’s a hard theme
I have a rock!
Thursday, February 22nd, 2007
Well I got a lot more done on the CC on 3 SAL than I should have. I was supposed to get a lot of writing done this past weekend but instead I caved in to Hermit. Well, and sleep
I have the first rock done from Hermit. It is a lot more green than I thought it would be, but I still like it. Now this one gets put away until next month.
